New Mexico MESANew Mexico Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement Inc. is a part of a national initiative promoting educational enrichment for pre-college students from historically under-represented groups. NM MESA prepares the students for college majors and careers in mathematics, engineering and science-related fields.

Science Fair: The Southwestern New Mexico Regional Science and Engineering Fair is affiliated with the NM State Science and Engineering Fair.

SEMAA: SEMAA provides K-12 grade students with a better understanding of and a greater appreciation for science, engineering and mathematics. Students are actively engaged in hands on inquiry based co-operative learning environment that allows students every grade level to learn by doing.

TRiO Upward Bound: A program for high school students whose parents have not received a four-year degree. The mission of the NMSU TRIO Upward Bound Program is to assist participants to successfully complete their secondary education while preparing participants for entry into and graduation from a four-year institution of higher education.
